Uniform Information for 2009-2010

Lake Forrest Prep students wear the school uniform with pride. Beginning in Primary, Lake Forrest Preparatory children are required to wear the uniform items from Lands’ End.

Our parents agree to support the dress code and the uniform guidelines when they enroll.   
 
Primary students wear the school uniform on Wednesdays.
Pre-K3 students wear the school uniform components on Wednesdays each week August-December.
PK3 students wear the full uniform every day beginning in January.
Daily Uniform for Pre-K4 through Elementary

Boys:  Any Land’s End khaki pants, shorts or cords with the red or green polo shirt (short or long sleeve), white oxford (short or long sleeve), brown or black belt, white socks, all white sneakers, or tan oxford shoes.

Girls: Any Land’s End khaki shorts, skorts, capris, or pants with the red or green polo shirt (short or long sleeve), white blouse (short or long sleeve) , white socks or tights, all white sneakers or black Mary Janes.  (No skirts please)

    * Khaki jumper and polo dress may be worn with bike shorts-all ages (logo required)
    * Lake Forrest Prep Students must wear uniforms on field trips.
    * No uniforms are required on non-academic days.
    * All uniform bottoms (boys and girls) with loops must be worn with a belt.
    * LFPS Spirit Shirts are worn on Thursdays with the uniform bottoms.
    * Superhero clothing, superhero shoes, or flip flops may not be worn at anytime including non-academic days and summer.

Hair, Jewelry & Piercing:  A Lake Forrest Prep student’s hair is neat and in their natural hair color. Boys’ hair length must be above the collar.  Girls can wear green, red or white hair accessories.  Vacation braids can be worn for one day.  Shaved-in words or signs, braids on boys, hair tails, trendy hair or trendy hair adornments are not a part of the school uniform.  For girls very simple pearl, sterling, gold or birthstone stud earrings are approved jewelry. Dangle earrings, trendy bracelets or ankle jewelry are not worn with the uniform.  An appropriate watch can be worn and religious jewelry is worn inside the uniform. Our students do not expose piercing of body parts other than ears for girls and do not expose tattoos, body paint or body art anywhere.  Girls do not wear colored nail polish or makeup.

*Students are required to purchase a cool weather jacket in solid red or green.
These jackets may be purchased at any store (No logo required).
There can not be any designs, pictures or writing on them.
