Parents
When you walk into Lake Forrest Prep, you instantly feel a sense of warmth and comfort as if you were home. We believe that we are an extension of the family, and our administration and staff partner with you to help bring your child to their greatest potential in a welcoming and loving environment.
Although we have an accelerated curriculum, we are not a cookie-cutter school that only accepts the highest achieving students. We recognize the abilities of each student and modify our curriculum to fit the needs of each individual. Ability grouping in our math and reading classes assure you that your child is getting the best education tailored for them. We offer standardized testing, but we do not teach to the test, and our students have traditionally performed extremely well when compared to other students in the nation.
We believe, not only in supporting academics, but also in fostering good citizenship. Character education is a large part of our school culture, and it is integrated into our daily curriculum in the preschool through middle school. We value a school community that is nurturing, loving, and supportive, and our members model these behaviors regularly. We know that students who feel confident and respected will make good decisions both academically and emotionally.
